Member support is critical to the success of DSF’s mission to conserve wild Atlantic Salmon and its habitat, restore a viable sports fishery, and protect other important river, scenic, recreational, and ecological resources in eastern Maine!
Financial support is vital to our day to day operation. You may donate directly to any of our projects that might have special significance to you, such as the Peter Gray Parr Project or our efforts championing proper fish passage on the Union River. You can also donate directly to our Land Trust Program or any of our Habitat Restoration Programs. Donations can also be made for “where it’s needed most”.
We also welcome support from the local business community as Business Sponsors.
Support can also be in the form of Volunteerism. DSF has many different volunteer opportunities throughout the year such as Fin Clipping in the fall, Smelt and Alewife monitoring in the spring and our annual Smelt Fry Celebration in April.
